rediculous as it sounds, fiat uno turbo.

at teh time it was the newest car i had ever owned! loved it to bits but couldnt afford the replacement ecu it needed so sold it for £70.

6 months later saw it in the local scrappy

really wish i had that now.

mine are a bit mundane -  one is my 1st car - a 1979 renault 12 handpainted dark blue, i was gonna pay my dad weekly for it, then someone offered him the cash , second was my champagne beige clubman, which i had in a lock up with no electric, and it needed a little welding, so it went. most recently was my florida blue mk1 polo, genuine 42, 000 miles on it, mint out of its face, i did a few period mods to it, and then i sold it, to a guy who thought it would look ok de rub stripped and colour coded and a few chrome bits on it. he then sold it to a guy who thought he could 1.8t it. now its back up for sale for £1500 with its original 895cc in it.

if i'm honest, my british racing green rover 114 gta, quickest car i've owned, quicker than my saxo vtr, and my current corsa sri 1.4 16v, spent around a month on getting the rover on the road and was also quite rare and also no rust on 65k miles but now some chav owns it and has started playing with it so it is now not standard
