can u use the newer style clocks ie P reg clocks and swap them for pre 94 clocks
same fittings etc?

Mate of mine has a L reg GTI and put a set if P reg anni ones in and they work perfect!

I'm sure they different, early ones had T5 bulbs used to illuminate all of the parts of the clocks whereas the later ones used some T5 and some built in LEDs and differently positioned wiring connectors.

Either way the plugs are they same co my mate literally just slapped em in no probs!
