Like said above wait the 24 hours and if no comms is made then sell it to the other boy. If i'm seeling a car on BIN I usually ask for contact to be made before clicking the button to ensure the genuity of the possible buyer. Far too many timewasters on the bay who do not know the rules. I'm sure your hoping they don't get in touch because if they do you are legally obligated to sell it too them.

I sold my beemer a week last monday... he rang me the day after winning it all seemed genuine. Waited the 6days he said he can only pick up only to be fobbed off!

Go the correct routes of filing a report against him so you get your listing price back and dont get surcharge you get when selling!

Oh and and extra £400! get on that boat

For an extra £400 I would put 6 months tax on for him, and go down the proper route of waiting 24 hours with the original buyer. Can't say fairer than that, and you'll still be about £275 up!

called to sus him out, another foreigner, I asked if it was Jerry (his name he gave, certainly didn't sound like a Jerry to me) and immediately asked "Who is this??!", said who I was and seemed unaware of what I was on about, then asked "What?" after a moments silence, I repeated myself and then "uhhh .... oh yeah. Can I come down?"

Seemed a little dodgy so (bottled it) hung up

After having it listed it elsewhere and having f#ckers similar to that contact me it gets really annoying and puts you off

and why offer so much more? :undecided:

Don't worry dude, I'm a foreigner and I usually put a thick accent when I talk with other people, I once went to see a car at 8 but there was an accident and didn't get there till 10pm so the bloke must have thought I'm mental...

I'm foreign too and have nothing against anyone that is foreign, it's just these guys that give others a bad name and eventually people do as I do and discriminate unfortunately.

If the car in question is black, no worries.
