Those are Driver door cards (yellow with blue). Used to have identical ones in mine before I re trimmed them.

Beat me to it with the Corrado seats. TBH corrado seats are arguably more comfortable than golf ones as the bases are longer. Also they sit lower as they are for the low roof coupe. Could always avoid the pain of tracking down a replacement golf interior and get them trimmed up to match?

Those door cards also come out of Early GTI's they did do a checked patterned the same as the one pictured with the blue & yellow stripping...

I broke a car with them in ages ago...

So if it is a very late 16V, should it have Rainbow, or Ultra Violet?
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I think UV's were only fitted to BBM & White cars AFAIK..

I thought all other coloured Late 16V had Rainbows, but I guess it depended on what the buyer or dealership ordered...

Thanks for the replies and good info! I definitely need to loose the yellow/blue stripe cards , nasty against the red paint.

Re-trimming the fronts could be a viable option , the Corrado seats do the job well - any ideas on cost?

cheers

Too many factors, like who you use to the type of material. 350- to 3500, sure someone local to recommend. Although if you fancy a bash yourself you can achieve good results with a bit of patience and decent glue

These are  not Driver door cards (yellow with blue). they are out of a gti same as mine they are early gti from 'e'1988 on ward then they made the red/black and white trim up to 89/90 then the rainbow trim was used. :smug:
