unusual oil leak

Getting a slight leak of oil from the car, seems to be coming from this, only had a quick look, doesnt look like a bolt to me so not a clue... any ideas? And what to fix!

Is that your gearbox bell housing? Does it smell like rotting flesh? (honestly smell it, see if it gear oil). Wipe it clean first then see if it comes back/see how long it takes to come back

If it is gear oil then you have a shaft seal leaking, engine oil will be the crankshaft seal.

I believe its from my bell hosuing yea. is coming from the gear box  side of the engine... how am I suppose to know what rotten flesh smells like! Haha

Easy job to fix or? I'm guess engine out job?

Lucky got an engine crane then! Should.be able to do it next week. Anything I can do to stop it for the moment?

Not really, plugging the hole will only make it gather in the bellhousing, and probs leak out somewhere else anyway. Just keep an eye on your engine and gear oil levels until then. Better to replace a perished seal than replace a gearbox or engine!  :sick:

I would recommend a new clutch whilst it is all apart.

your clutch could be fouled by the oil so you might need a new one.  :sick:
