MK3 CUTTING OUT

Help me for the past week now every now an again when im stopped or going slow my rev counter
shoots up to about 20 car starts to shudder then cuts out.
It dosent cut out everytime sometimes just oil and battery flashes/

I thought throttle needed cleaning done that but stil problem not solved

Any suggestions??

Possible - so not sure about this - could be an air hose blockage.

Check all the small diameter hoses around the inlet manifold, there are a few! And go to different parts.

Take em off one by one and blow through them, also check to see if ther are any splits in them.

di that had check no splits
let a guy look at it for me an apparently i have this switch in the
air system part and he reckons could be something to do with that
None the wiser ahh

Get your codes checked by a VW garage (or one that has correct code reader)

Then you'll know wots wot saving much head scratching and many a wasted penny.
