Could one of these be the cause for radiator fans not coming on?

My temp gauge has started dropping when warm, so after a mooch around here found that the temp sender can cause the temp gauge issue, so I have one on the way....

Now I noticed about a month ago that the radiator fans were not coming on and wondered if the 2 were linked? or the thermostat could cause it

Temp drops whilst going 50+? It's probably your thermostat there's a guide in the maintenance section written by me, have a look!

But can the temp sender or the thermostat cause the radiator fans not to come on?

could be, as it thinks its not up to temp then the fans wont it kick in
