part name/number

im looking for a pair of the rubber grommet/tubes for running wiring between the front door and pillar.
cant think of their actual name, anyone got a part number?

I call it a "door bellows - gromit" - Part numbers no longer listed on ETKA...

I may have a set on a car that I'm stripping next week if you are looking for a set

Flywheel Cover?? or do you mean the Cover on the left of the engine that covers the timing belt?

Never seen one as car never had it, but apparently its a little green cap that goes on the flywheel cover?

Its a timing plug for the gear box I think he is on about some people like to stick gear oil down it for some reason  :wink:

When you said GREEN I knew what you meant & I can't imagine why you would put Gear Oil down there when VW have made such a good job of showing where the gear box oil goes..... :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Alass you would be surprised anyone who is reading it PLEASE DO NOT STICK OIL DOWN THE HOLE I KNOW ITS TEMPTING  BUT  IT WILL FU**CK IT UP!

To be honest a rubber gromet as mentioned would do, its just to keep dust and crap out!
