Dont do it! Fuel consumption is f**king nuts, they try claiming its nearly the same but we all know what manufacturers fuel claims are like!

Don't forget the oil consumption and the 60000 mile engine rebuild

Was a big fan back when these were just getting released...

...but the reality isn't as good as the dream for most. They may be Jap, have RWD and offer some N/A mechanical mastery but they seriously lack low down grunt which severely impacts both performance and economy.

Why couldn't Mazda have sold a turbo version

So my conclusion... GO FOR IT!

If you like the looks, the way it drives and you're not bothered about not having 4000000 torques, then they are brilliant cars.

Isn't it low 20's when driving normally? crazy! its not fast enough to justify that tbh. The old rx was worth the fuel/oil consumption and rebuilds because it was bloody rapid

they have gone a bit ott on the rotary logo's too  bet they handle well though

One of my mates bought one of these, nice looking, love the doors, funny because you get to say wankle when talking about the engine.... but, problems arose soon after and it spent more than a few months in pieces because it wouldn't run right, cost him a fortune and he hates it but has spent so much to get it going again that he doesn't want to get rid now.

Hope yours doesn't have the same problems!
Wouldn't be fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?
