Just bought an 04 gt tdi for a tidy sum, but it does have a few problems, firstly it goes into limp mode and throws out a code for overboost, i think this is the turbo may need cleaning? Also there is a noise coming from the engine similar to that of a worn bearing, normally when backing off the acelerator or holding the revs around 2k. I think it could be the oil pump bearing, it has had a new flywheel and clutch, which vw said it was! Im going to do the cambelt while im at it, is there anyone with a guide of how to do this as i understand they are a bit of a pig! Any ideas or help will be much appreciated.
