slight miss

Hy guys iv changed the plugs on the 1.8t agu as thee was a slight miss but after giving it some careful listening the miss is still there any ideas as don't want to be changing bits for the sake of it the car as been mapped to any help appreciated cheers guys


 i drive a golf thats why im skint!!!!


losing interest in the golf and now not so skint !!!!!

engin running, swap the cil packs over, but remembering where they all went, put if there all fine, but theres stil a missfire, its ignition amp  :smiley:

A real 304bhp 286lbft in a mk4 golf!

Any idea on part number and price of ignition amp got a big spend on the golf tomorrow lol having a load of nice bits fitted  :grin:

A scan probably wont show up a missfire.

Some good old mechanics would be the best option for this one.

Ive had a dodgy coilpack on a AGU before....well, enough to give it a misfire under boost, Me and Nick spent most the day trying to work it out why it was missing under boost and eventually found the coils to be issue.  I guess 10+ years and they eventaully wear out.

Car is fine under boost its just ever so slight on tick over if u know wa I mean more so now the cooler weather is setting in   :sad:
