Im a dab hand with a soldering iron but i have no idea what i need for the LED's. Could you post a little instruction manual please. i.e do you need in line resistors etc and where you get it all from. P.S did you manage to tackle the electric window switches too?
stuck with basic windows so didnt didnt have any buttons to do for them but its not difficult at all. joe offered the best place to get them
www.ultraleds.com all the leds need an inline resistor but if you search for them on that site you can get ultraviolet blue and red all ready to just pop in there marked up as 12v led's.
if you have the leds and soldering iron take a switch and youll see on each side there are plastic bits holding it on carefully remove the back without breaking the plastic tabs that lock them together and you can see the led right there just use some tweezer nose pliers and soldering iron to remove it and solder in the new one its tight and ackward but can be done.
once the led is in place put the switch back together and then from the front try and remove the face plate from the switch and look in the back of it to remove the green lense put it back together and sorted, one led switch.
the cold cathode tube is abit more difficult tho and needs the complete clocks removed to access the top. if i get some time tomorrow ill add some pics of the inside of the switchs so you can see.
