remote boot opening MK1 3dr

Hi,

Just remembered,  Having the boot lid flushed means no way of opening the boot.  I have heard about different ways of getting around this with solenoid kits etc.  Has anyone done this mod and if so can you tell me how?  Thank you very much

I have installed a solenoid in my cab.It is oparated by the keyfob on my clifford alarm or from a button on the dashboard (Corrado Item to match the rest of the switches). Its basically an electromagnet which pulls wire/rod.
People do the same for the doors too but I hate to imagine what happens when your battery runs flat.
