Took my Mazda 6 to the dealers for a service, strange place as they sell and service Land Rovers too........... usually get a smallish, cr@ppy courtesy car but this time I got:



Was quite happy about it until I drove it...  Such a woman's car! Everything is sooooooo over assisted.

My mrs mum has the top spec one 59 reg!

It is a girly car but its nice to drive! The only auto iv ever drivin!! Very good at towing !!

Exactly.... Very over assisted steering and at speed felt horrid.  Brakes, again over assisted, slight touch and it plants its nose into the ground.  Interior, cheap as you like, dated displays and wobbly button heaven.  Also felt like there was a lot of play in the drivetrain.  Gear selection almost verging on French in operation.

TD4 motor seemed OK... At least they've binned the god awful 1800 petrol.

Take one round a Land Rover Experience site. You'll soon change your tune. They're fantastic machines and the interior whilst not amazing compares well with most brands including VW.

What part of a Land Rover is girly exactly?

took my mazda 6 sport in for service and got a new 1.2 fiesta. i was promised a like for like courtesy car on the phone.

That's interesting as I was able to get everywhere the Disco4 went when I drove one off road, quite a challenging route too!
