Something to do on 2 year anniversary?
« on: 20 November 2011, 23:35 »
Chelsea wants to go somewhere like London for a night next weekend during our 2 year anniversary. I however believe that is too expensive as it'll cost £150+ easily which is money I don't have.

Has anyone got any ideas to what we could do, anything really. Just want some ideas.

Let off some Chinese laterns in a park after a romantic dinner.

Hold hands, hug and embrace over a river.

Bone her later.

Your mates can mock you.

Everyone including your wallet is happy.

Not fancy a cosy room out by some lake somewhere?

Few bottles of wine, cook a meal, few candles? Cheap and comes across as making an effort.

If she really wants to go away shouldn't she be paying half? Anniversary is for 2 people...

I'd quite happily do that but she wants something more (don't all women) lol.

She would be paying half, but even so, it will still be expensive. The problem is with Christmas coming and so much expense already, spending lots for a two anniversary isn't what I had in mind. I've already spent £££ on gifts.

I went out for a meal at an a le carte restaurant. It was brilliant and we did the same thing the year before. £40 a head plus drinks, 15+ 'courses' and you will be in at a candle lit table from 7 till 12. Probably going to do the same next year, its a great opportunity to forget about money cos its only gonna be £60 max each and you get to chat and remind yourselves why you are together. Cheesy but then again, isnt it all?
