exhaust emisions and epc light on dash

Hi guys i have a 1.4 mk4 golf s just drove to surrey drove a dream but unfortunatly the roads we went on wernt to good so hit the bottom of the car twice i was going slow but sounded painfull thn on the way home exhaust emisions light came on and epc lights came on and lost all power so now top speed 30 i pulled over turned off engine restarted and only emmisions light came back and ran fine for the rest of the journey hmm any ideas lambda phrobe? got vag-com? get it scanned, if it was lambda  problems etc it would/should throw out some code's!

Nahh havnt mate is it worth getting the ones u buy if so wat is the best one to get?

the ebay cables are ok, and then a torrent from utorrent etc for ROSS-TECH or find some one local for a few beer tockens

depends on 2 thing's :\ what car will you buy next? and what does your mates have! but id rather just have a VAG one, at that price!
