It's an ancient Nokia brick, about 5 years old, maybe more, Doc. Sorry but I don't know the model... Maybe more modern phones could sort me out but I was hoping there was a hidden menu somewhere on the oem bluetooth...

There is an option in the Bluetooth settings in the DIS that changes the phonebook to either lastname or firstname first..

well after a couple of days with the kit working its a great bit of kit
also the bluetooth audio is fantastic
