Keep getting calls from foreigners insisting I was in car accidents, I could claim PPI and all that sh!t. I've had 2 so far today, but I get them all the time. I'm usually always polite to them, telling them that I've not been in accidents or taken out a credit card or anything else they say I've done and I always ask them to take me off their database. Half of them just hang up as soon as you say you've not been in a car accident, the other half hang up as soon as you ask them to take you off the database.

Next time I'm going pi$$ them right off, going to start saying hold on I'll just get the owner of the house and leave the phone on hold until they get tired and hang up, asking them to please wait then I'll put some music in the background, just like they do, and if I get any more rude ones I'm going to tell them to simply fcuk off. So frigging tired of dropping whatever I'm doing, rushing to the phone and then some Indian bloke who barely speaks english, whose name is Mike or Roger starts insisting I was in a car accident last year and I was badly injured.

I don't deal with them, just ignore them.
80% of your posts are total tripe, as they are mostly replies to sh1te posts created by the morons that, unfortunately this forum attracts.

I get em all the time too, but 9 out of 10 are recorded messages. I just put the phone down straight away, they ring a couple of times more at later dates, but they do get the idea eventually.

Mention that you are signed up to the telephone preference service, they will apologise, hang up quickly and not ring back

Have you tried the radical, "just hang up" method?

Works for me.

I tried this full proof method a few years ago and never got another call since

Put the phone down, unplug it, never use it again, and only give out your mobile number. who uses landlines nowadays anyway!
