diagnostics pin on a 1995?

got a match 1.4, trying to find the diagnostics plug, snap on's tool reckons it does have it, 'near cigarette lighter' or something along them lines it says. now, i know my mates was just about the lighter, but mines solid plastics and definitely doesn't have anything behind it.. anywhere else it could be or does it not have one?

If you pull the ashtray out the panel above cig lighter should slide to the right and reveal socket.

Or if its an early one try behind blanking switches under heater controls.

yeah they do my mates one is next to the ashtray behind the blanking plug like normal. its a 97 P reg though

on my 1.4 n reg, it was right next to the ashtray, on the left, the cover just slides to the right and the plug should be there..
