My previous job involved fitting trackers to brand new Porsche's. In all honesty I thought they were crap but insurers would not cover them if they had no tracker system.

Easily ripped out by a pro theif. Get some bollards and a heavy duty front and back door lock.

Park your car on your drive and built a moat around your house with a draw bridge. I'd say it maybe do able.

Don't matter where you live,I live in a low crime area and the tw ats drove 40miles from Wolverhampton to rob my car. :angry:

My cousin has a tracker in his Astra VXR (standard fit I believe?) and it led to the swift recovery of it with the guys that stole it stood next to it!

They had also broken into the house, walked through picking up a laptop on the way.... Then decided to leave through the window after they realised a hideously overgrown bulldog/bull terrier was on the other side of the lounge door. My cousin an his missus thought he was just being annoying, ah well, stopped them going upstairs.

He's now got what's known as 'dealer doors' nigh on impossible to break down or into. I'm sure a google would bring something up.

I had a friend who always took out the fuel pump fuse. Worked like a charm.

one of those steering wheel locks?

concrete a huge eyebolt into the floor and chain through the wheels. (wouldn't be pretty if they tried to drive off i doubt mind)

remove some fuses, wheelclamps, bollards etc

Ive got a couple fitted to different cars. They call you if the car moves, they have 5 or 6 different numbers to ring if they cant get through.

Im not sure about the jammers they are using although i know they exist.

It did nothing to bring down my insurance i just wanted them for peice of mind  :smiley:

This makes me sick. It makes owning such a nice car pointless. I'd rather own an older car than be in constant fear for my familys and my cars safety. What sort of world do we live in?  :sad:
