Time for a new laptop.....
« on: 16 November 2011, 15:24 »
As the title suggests i want a new laptop, spec wise i'd like-

i3(Sandybridge),
HDMI,
Bluetooth,
15.6" or bigger screen,
Webcam,
USB 3 port (if possible).

Have between £400-500 to spend and would like something that feels well built.

Suggestions/Recommendations welcome...

Look on amazon or laptops direct bud heaps of deals but for that spec you wont need more than £400

Have been on those sites but not sure what is best.

Thinking about a Lenovo, either a b570, g570 or z570 with an i3/i5.

Lenovo are basically old IBM Thinkpad designs (they bought up IBM's laptop business) and generally aren't regarded as fantastic.

That Samsung looks alright. Have you looked at Dell, they're usually good prices and good products (I'm on my 2nd Dell laptop and not had problems with either).
