HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was driving down th eroad and my car started jerking quite bad, its a 16 valve E reg. 3 Door.

it stalled so istarted it back up and when pressing accelearator is felt like the fuel was not getting through it started to sutter etc and just conked out.

Tried starting it again it started ok- however when depressing the accelerator it conked out again.

so i towed the car to my local garage- we tried starting the car but it will not start at all now- fuel pump seems to be louder than usual also.

Any advice will be appreciated.

is it mechanical injection or digifant

ive been told it is kjet

you could try  loosening the fuel return pipe to the tank and cranking the motor over if fuel squirts out then the pump is ok if not then there is not enough pressure to lift the pressure regulator and you could have a pump/supply problem make sure you disconnect the distributor before cranking you dont want any external combustion now  do you
