A group of doctors that most likely drink loads of alcohol and smoke 70 fags a day whilst visiting brothels for 'meetings' decide these stupid proposals!

Well someone's got to take one for the team and use said products to get an insight into the minds behind those that do use them....

The only thing 'stupid' about these proposals is that if somehow everyone stopped smoking tomorrow, 50% of doctors would be picking up their P45s within a decade, as half the punters would stop coming through the doors with heart disease/malignancies/COPD/diabetic complications/peripheral vascular disease/etc!

Drug and Alcohol related issues will keep them busy, not to mention the flood of immigrants here.

Alcohol will keep the gastroenterologists busy until retirement. You're wrong about everything else.

Thats a good thing. These dregs of society that frequent the Jeremy Kyle show may (although I doubt it) actually think (may hurt as well) about the consequences of passive smoking with regard to their 12 kids that go around throwing bricks through innocent pensioners windows etc. The people that smoke in their houses and cars with their kids present couldnt really give a toss though IMO. Those fags are more often than not being paid by said government that would impose the ban.
