looks like it could be a good project, enough work to give you somethng to tinker with, but not so much that you need to spend thousands.

why???? all that hard work and extra expense to declare to insurance when a couple hundred quid tuning on a 20vt and you get the same result?? ok its different but just seems like a lot of hard work for something that could be acheived for a lot less cash

the GSI is the vaux equivalent of a GTI mate. he's removed the 1.8t engine and put in a C20LET 2.0 Turbo engine from a Vaux

also it would be a golf vxr...

point being why not buck the trend of all the 1.8t's 'something different'( a term which people use to mask sh!t mods :wink:)

I think it's quite a cool project personally. something a little different.

can't imagine much difference in power though
