great plates mines ust gone through genuine mot with them fine

theres a couple of good uns on ebay, got mine off there, look alright

Just be carefull any plates supplied with docs being shown are classed as show plates and are illegal.

If they are uk legal font, have all markings and are reflective, you're covered!

Got german font plates off ebay £20 been on for 15months ,never had a problem,but i do keep the original ones in the boot just in case.

if youre refering to the ones in your picture, they arent legal, fonts wrong!

Exactly the same here.....I have had the £20 EBay specials on a few cars and this one I have now and carry the originals in the boot just in case  :cool:

Wrong  :rolleyes: we make number plates in work and have to keep records so if any trouble they can be traced back to the supplier.

Lol i make number plates at work to. The plates need to have the postcode of the place that made it, and the correct UK stamped number. bsau 145d. If they are reflective and of the right font, theyre legal. The police wont know that you didnt have to show your V5 or V11 etc to get a plate made up.

Yeah, German font isn't UK font  :laugh:

any plate made after 1999 needed the manufacturers details on (and bs mark)

luckily your mk3 had the pressed plates fitted years ago  :wink:
