Just wondering what my mk3 Anniversary is worth - as I'm thinking it's time to let it go (having bought a new car!)

Spec:
1997 P reg VW GOLF 2.0 GTi Anniversary, 55,000 miles, 3dr Hatchback, Metallic Pearl Blue, FSH with fully stamped VW service book, genuine mileage, MOT & Tax, ABS, twin airbags, all electrics, sunroof, 16" alloys, CD + 8 speaker system, alarm + immob.

Excellent condition inside and out, except the usual slight laquer problem on the outer rim of the alloys.

3.5/4k i'd say

going rate on autotrader seems to be around the 3.5k - 4k mark for ones similar to yours

id stick it at 4k ono and see if it sells
