Yesterday I took my speedo cluster apart to repaint my needles as the paint was cracking. It was a bit cold in the garage, so to speed the paint drying a bit I cracked out my heater gun. I realise that the heat these produce is a bit much, but I was only waving it a little.
However I let my mind wander a second, just long enough to heat the speedo needle enough to droop. So I now have a droopy needle on my speedo. Bugger!
I guess I'll have to stick a request in the classifieds, as more people look here, does anyone have any spares so I could get a replacement needle? I've got a motometer (I think) cluster?
