Look up and use BIDMAS folks!

I charge £30ph for private Maths tuition, but I'm happy to knock that down to £25 for fellow forum users  :laugh:

The one thing i strugle with is the imaginary part in complex numbers

Remember forum friends, if you are out tonight and have had say, 0 pints, that if you go to the bar and get yourself 1 pint, that you then proceed to drink, you will honestly have then had in total, 1 pint. Not 0, definitely not.

If you get pulled by plod and he asks if you had a drink you can just say you had 1, but because you can't add that to 0 then you've had nothing. Len maths = no DUI  :smiley:

I'll stick my hands up and admit I put "1".  :embarassed:

I didn't look through the posts before I worked it out (didn't want to cheat). As for my technique, I just read it as it appeared and forgot about the BIDMAS (or whatever it's called).

Maybe need a new option for Len though on the poll.

complex numbers are easy to calculate just relatively difficult to imagine.

degree in actuarial mathematics and statistics agrees answer is 21.
a4 2.8 30v v6 quattro gets me vag
