if it is like we think the filter seal, it will only leak whilst the engine is running.....

so crank it up and watch...

tried replacing the oil pressure switch on the top of the oil filter housing, It's hard to spot but mine went on the old white valver and i had no idea where it was coming from until i put it on a ramp and prodded about all around the oil filter, then bingo there it was dribbling oil everywhere.

Might be worth a look, if it is they cost about £3 from GSF and take all of 5 mins to replace.

yep, pitstop pointed that out to me as a common place for oil to piss out of  :undecided:

aye just squeeze the wee rubber boot on top of the senders, if oil is coming out of them then the wee boot will be full of oil

i recently replaced the gaskets on my oil filter. pretty easy enough. there is a gasket for the oil filter housing and also a gasket/ rubber o-ring that goes between the filter housing and oil cooler - got both from German Swedish

ive had a good look today and its leaking from the oil filter. ive just bought a new one am takin it to jet wash to blast all the oil off from underneath and im gunna change the oil and filter and hopefully *fingers crossed* itl be fine  :cool:

don't forget to take some WD40 if your sparying water near any electric bits. Hope it works out, i don't think you need anymore bad luck :wink:
