Shame really as its one of the nicest mk4s ive seen on this forum and after the money and time youve put in to get it there seems a waste it being sat in your garage and you not being able to use the car.I would maybe keep it till next year as xmas isnt a great time to be selling your car anyway and in the mean time your luck might change. If things dont improve then maybe next year sell it and go with a cheaper option see what happens

it still has long m.o.t on so that would help me sell but ive started sanding down the tailgate and couple other bits so its gonna need a respray, plus has no headlights as i havent purchased new 1s yet dont know if its worth me carrying on only for me not 2 be able afford insurance as i was paying 172 a month and my renewal shot up to nearly 300 which is 1 of the reasons aswell as winter kicking in i garaged her.............

do i carry on

or do i sell

Ah now that is one of the female ploys!

If she hasnt said you should keep it then in her opinion she thinks it should be sold.
She is just expecting you to reach the "right" decision!
(HERS!)

Ahhhh ever the synic!

I'd keep hold of it if I were you, and if she starts on you for 'not reaching the right decision', plead ignorance and say you thought she wanted you to keep it because her inability to give you a straightforward answer!  :smug:

Nothing cynical about that!
Just experience that nearly 40 years of marriage brings!
