Another new member from Hertfordshire
« on: 05 November 2011, 22:52 »
Hello everyone -I'm based in Mill End nr Rickmansworth.

Had my MK3 Gti just a week - and today gave it a service and a bit of a clean

Just over 94k and has a full years mot - picked it up for £500.

Couple of issues main one being an annoying stutter/hesitation intermittant when you put your foot down.

Welcome aboard mate.
80% of your posts are total tripe, as they are mostly replies to sh1te posts created by the morons that, unfortunately this forum attracts.

Welcome

Nice colour and a good choice of engine too

Mine had this stutter and if its from around 2k rpm and goes away after 3k rpm then try donoring or changing your ECU relay No.30 from VW. If not then try a search, I posted this a long time ago, got loads of ideas and help from the members here which might help you too:

Thanks for the heads up Leon - will go into VW tomorrow and see if I can pick up a relay. Still waiting for the Haynes manual to come though so hoping you may point me in the right direction as to where it is?? Thanks

Well looks like the ECU relay 30 has done the trick. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the welcomes and the advice.
