the car is a vw bora 1.9tdi sport-2003 model.
the boot lock does not open with the key or the remote.
however it is possible to open the boot lock manually by turing the key 90 degress anticlockwise an dit tends to be stiff.
so far checked/done the following
swapped boot lock motor -no joy.
checked fuses which seem ok
did a visual check on the bootlid handle microswitch which appears to click ok.
no fault codes coming up on vag.com pointing towards a faulty central convenience comfort module.
the boot light works ok.
the mechanic says it is a faulty ccm module but no codes on vag.com come up.
so what do do next??
