Proof Of Imoboliser/Alarm For Direct Line

Hi sorry if this as been covered before only posts i could find where old and maybe no longer relevent advice.
D/L want proof of the factory fitted alarm and immoboliser, any ideas where i can get this evidence for them from? had no manuals/paperwork relevent to it when we brought the car but if def has it as we have to use this fob thingy to start it! its a P reg Vw Golf gti 8v thanks

i'm with direct line and they never asked me for proof of immobiliser or the alarm.

you sure they just werent asking if you had both???
