does anyone no the diffrence with a vw bora tdi exhaust compared to a vw bora petrol??  ebay sell them for 1.8t but they say it wont fit a diesel??

From the cat back the petrol and diesel exhausts are exactly the same

i've just fitted a scorpion cat back to mine - it came with adaptors for different cat pipe sizes

i can't see why not - i have adaptors i didn't use for connecting to cat

the hangers are same apart from R32

if you check scorpion as an example - they only list one exhaust from cat back
in fitting kit you get 2 types of adaptor tube.

Luckily derv has a big bore cat so didn't need to use them on mine.

(get a decent panel filter too  :wink: )

i've got non resonated discrete - it has a little burble when started up but after that it's fine.
Car really goes well from about 1700 revs now.

the pictures don't do it justice - the pipe bore is much bigger than std and very simple to fit.
