« on: 01 November 2011, 11:36 »
Was told a while ago this stuff is bad for tyres.

Is there any truth in it?

as said, they contain silicones i believe that can cause 'slipperyness' to the tread, but they do add protection on life to the tyre walls

dodo juice tyromania has had really good reviews, but at £20, if you dont want to spend that much, meguiars endurance gel with applicator pad come in at £15 jointly

As Guy has said highstyle comes in cheaper and can be used on plastics aswell as rubber, very economical product, little goes a long way.

SV pneu is the only one i use til now and is water based with no silicone. Im not a fan of Silicone dressings but when you are cleaning 50 plus cars a day then it has its uses. AS is the one everyone l know likes. But for best then SV pneu

HTH    Sorry if my post confused, misled you in any way shape or form. So to clear it up i like SV pneu for best as its water based and if you need a cheaper good quality dressing for tyres then Autosmart do a nice one. Again my applogies Guy!!
