Whilst those are nice trainers, I would imagine most places will have a 'no trainers' policy on the door, so you'll struggle to get in.

Actually, the high end places usually don't care what you wear on your feet, it's the lower end of the market that stop trainers. Really, it's one technique used to stop pikey cretins from being allowed in.

I used to hate this sh*t.

I used to wear DM boots a lot.

'you're not coming in here dressed like that'

Seriously, why the hell not?  They're soft and squidgy and no more effective at kicking someone's head in than a pair of brogues.

Nightclubs: please curl up and die.  You never did anyone any good anyway.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

I work in a lot of clubs

i wear a lot of classic nikes, like air Force 1's and Air Jordans.

All the clubs i work in are ok with with smart non chav trainers like i mention above, it depends on what else you are wearing tho as well and who you are with.. and also what type of club??, i mean i play house music so the clubs are not up there own ass as its more about the music.. if its commercial places you are into or going to then forget wearing trainers full stop

Eye mask, black and white stripey jumper, black trousers and shoes and a sack which says SWAG on it. Wear that and you'll fit right in!
