Can you run a white rear plate? No

Can you run a german plate? No

Can you run pressed plates? Yes, but only if the company you buy them from request to see documents from you and the plates are stamped with the BS code and the manufacturers postcode.

This man is correct.

Dubmeister are as far as I know the only UK legal pressed plate suppliers. There will be plenty that tell you 'yeah I've had pressed plates on for years got them from a show blah blah' but bottom line is show plates are not road legal

20vt conversion, sig pic coming soon!

Just to clear this up you can run pressed plates only united kingdom font and at a standard size they also have to have the bs number on

My mate runs a set front and rear pressed uk plates with all the correct
bs numbers the police pull him but can do nothing and they HATE it

Any plates supplied without seeing docs are classed as show plates.

We make number plates in work and have to keep records.

Ohh that bad boy!

Honestly ditch the idea of these legal pressed plates also. You will get pulled and a chance of a fine. Cops dont care if they have the legal 'bs' mark that stands for bullsh1t.

Standard plates. The headache is not worth it. Lock thread/

Well, I've had pressed steel plates on my Golf Cabriolet for about 18 months now - all legal, bought from Europl8 at Ultimate Dubs.
They have a BS mark, but it's so faint grey from about 10 feet away it just disappears.
Now I'm an older driver so I guess the police see my grey hair and assume everything will be in order with my paper work - and it is.
Yeah, It's ageist I suppose - but it's one of the few perks of getting older
