I remember watching the Louis Theroux doc thinking he wasn't the full ticket, much like most vicars out there...

He came across a right weirdo in that! I remember the part when Louis left the camera on at night without Jimmy knowing , so Jimmy told Louis a story about him taking boys down to the cellar in a night club he owned and he used to beat them..nice guy

Whilst I think that this sort of case is horrible (and it doesn't really come as a surprise), you've got to remember that there must be a fair few celebrities and production crew that knew this sort of thing went on but did NOTHING to stop it or shop him.

Yes Esther Rantzen I am looking at YOU.

What a suprise! Who would have thought that a bloke who lived with his mum all his life would be normal!

I also wouldn't be suprised if Cliff Richard comes a cropper one day!

This sort of thing is the norm among some in mainstream television, music, law and politics. They either particapate in it or help to keep it covered up.

Personally I think its a bit lame to drag his name through the mud when he is not here to defend himself. If so many people knew about this then why did not even one of these people come forward and say something. And as for the bloke on the news last night who was scared of Jimmy Saville......get real and let the bloke R.I.P !!!!!!

sounds like a load of balls to me. link to the daily fail for a start.... then suddenly people start remembering stuff

nothing to do with the attention seeking and overnight celeb status they are after. who the fcuk is ester anyway... the old hag was probably jealous he wasnt throwing her a fat finger.

if he was or wasnt a kiddy fiddler... thats not really the point here. just very strange how it comes up now, when the man himself is not alive to defend himself. typical of the poor journalism we have in todays society

you could call any person that is slightly different from the norm a kiddy fiddler and i have no doubt to lots of sad fcukers would come out and say 'yes, he touched me too'.

He defended Gary Glitter.
What sort of non-paedophile would do that?

Also, I think people keeping quiet until now is to do with his level of status. He was so big and one point he seemed untouchable. Also taking into account the sexism in the 70s, any woman coming out and saying something like that (especially teenage girls) in the 70s would have just been shooed away.
