Kjet to Digifant - Engine Swap...... (1.8 8v)
« on: 30 April 2005, 19:42 »
Howdy Folks,

Due to my old 179000 mile kjet engine giving up the ghost, I have had to find a replacement.

Have found a Digifant with only 80k on it, from a J plate 8v

Is there much involved with converting the wiring loom etc?

The same bloke I'm buying the engine from will have a VR6 available soon aswell, would I be better off just waiting and maybe look at fitting that instead?

Would really help if you could throw some ideas in the air for me as I just can't decide what to do.

Cheers Mark

Well the VR6 would be a great conversion - but it's not cheap and you'll need more than just a doner car to get it installed !

If you have the money get the VR - no choice really is there
