Dead easy and I never ran spacers.

You will need to trim the rear arches a little.

The biggest problem with Gti's is that the trim acts as a water trap. You'll be very lucky to remove the trim and not find rust lurking underneath

Would arch rolling be as affective as a angle grinder? sound like it could get messy!!

Better tbh I only used a grinder as it was the cheapest option.

You have to drill out the rivets on the underside of the trim

And if leaving them off you will need CL trim.
