Weber 32/34 on a 1.8
« on: 27 October 2011, 18:55 »
Hi, ive recently fitted a weber 32/34 on my 1.8 gu engine and my question is, Where is the breather at the back of the carb supposed to go to?
I can see one that loops out the carb and then back in but there is also another one.
Also there was a breather attached to a yellow and black thing on the old carb that went off towards the servo, am i right to blank this off?
Any help or pics would be great Thanks

I presume you're referring to the vacuum tubes on the carb?  Stick them into the vacuum system and if there are any open pipes from the old carb, blank them off.

The Weber is a lot more simple than the Pierburg, thus should need less vacuum inputs.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.
