01259 - Fuel Pump Relay (J17) 28-00 - Short to Plus

I am having the above fault code everytime 
I have changed the relay it self but no luck and its doing my head in.

Abit of history my Bora was once a measley 1.6 but now a 1.8t AGU.
I didnt complete the conversion myself but under the battery tray I can see that the loom is block connectored up but looks cool to me.
 
The car runs spot on, I just dont like seeing the fault code I simply cant just ignore this lol its there for a reason.
The pump primes itself when opening the door and starts first time.

I have heard the 1.6 is SIMOS and the 1.8t (AGU) is Motronic what does this mean?

Any suggestions?

sounds like the fuel pump relay is faulty / or wiring faulty.

I have no idea.
Its not the actual relay itself as Iv changed mine 3 times to eliminate the problem.
I have checked the wiring and it looks ok.
But it is a conversion so am I using the wrong loom to connect the wiring loom from plenum chamber to engine loom  this may cause my problem with the fuel pump relay, I duno.

I have used the 1.8t engine loom and block connectored the car loom (under the battery tray that goes to the plenum chamber drivers side)
