remote locking

 :cry:Hi all hope you can help
i have just got a universal kit for remote locking and the instruction are crap do you fine guys know what to connect it up to  :
i have a mk3 gti 3dr with central locking just want to upgrade thanks in advance

if i'm remembering rightly from what i have read somewhere
you connect it to the switch inside the drivers door
i actuates the door pin motor to go down which which tells the central locking pump to start and locks all the other doors
i believe the front doors both have them so you could connect it to either
but don't quote me on it

hi thanks for that but do you know which wire there are about six in there two wires go to a little multi plug which sits on top of the switch and some more again in a multi plug that plug in to the bottom of the switch thanks
