Which Haynes Manual
« on: 26 October 2011, 23:08 »
Hi all,

I have just bought a standard 1995, 1.6 Mk 3 on an N plate and am loving it.  I also bought Haynes Manual VW Golf and Vento Feb 1992 to 1996 (J to N registration) Petrol and diesel.

However, it only covers the 1.4 and 2.0 8 Valve Petrol and the Turbo Diesel.  Is there a manual that covers the 1.6 Petrol?

It's a generic manual for most things, but will list some things with specifics to engine codes. See what your engine code is, and have a look. There won't be many/if any pics specific to your car though I'm afraid.

b.t.w the 1.6spi engine is quite similar to the 1.4spi, that's why there wont be a different book as it will all be covered by that one
