I think there was a server side update over the last week or so, but that shouldnt effect server browsing.

Make sure you untick the "hardcore no maps" box that sometimes pops up on its own.
no one plays on those maps.

I prefer hardcore mode as it doesn't take a whole mag to purely wound someone, only for them to turn around and one hit kill you with a pistol. I hate stalking enemies, waiting for the right moment to gun them down, unleashing a fury of lead into their backs, then you are the one to die.

I've been playing hardcore recently too and its much better!

flying the jet it wank though lol you have no idea where you are because you cant look around you.

You can if you hold up on dpad and right stick.
