If it was easier on other platforms then it woulda be easier for everyone on said platform...So you'd still have to be an accomplished player to stand out

There will always be differences in the way the game plays on pc or console (as you say) with the player count and differences with mouse and keyboard vs controller. However these differences won't necessarily make it easier (perhaps just a different 'feel'), so just because you are not particularly good on pc doesn't mean that xbox is easier, maybe you need a mouse and keyboard or a good squad of mates on pc. I play better when playing with a good squad that I can communicate with like the guys on here :afro:

Ps camping in a tank is a sign that the opposition need more engineers. Nothing to do with an easier platform.

Rant over

I don't think a semi will give the same results

this! really good point about a good squad
but you dont really need to be able to to talk the the other squad players just get a feel of what a squad needs, ie spawn on a player at the right time [ 1 on 1 at a flag etc ps check where the enemy is ] engineers like above.

I admit you need a decent squad but on 64 player you also rely on all the other squads in your team. personally i get well bored in tanks i like run in capature points and generally get involed.

Running between objectives is much more rewarding :afro: and much better for earning points

DOUBLE POINTS!

"EA just announced the first ever double XP weekend for a Battlefield game: Battlefield 3 will be getting a double XP weekend from May 12 to 14, where all points scored will be doubled. The double XP weekeend starts at 12:01 AM PST tonight. Double XP weekends have been run by many games over the years, including for many Call of Duty and Halo titles. It’s essentially a way of boosting player numbers for a short period of time by offering incentives. The Battlefield 3 double XP weekend will be live on all platforms."
