vr6 calipers onto mk2 hub?
« on: 23 October 2011, 23:48 »
I'm doin an abf conversion on my8v gti I want to upgrade the. Rakes as well but don't wanna spend all that money on the kits so wonderin if the vr6 calipers will mount and wether I'll be able to get the correct size disc to fit? I know I could go wide track but don't wanna have to get 5 stud wheels.

Also 8v hubs won't take discs bigger than 239mm iirc.

Ibiza GTI/cupra (upto 98/99 i think) brakes are a good place to start

I don't think a semi will give the same results

yep wrong hubs on a 8v ...early vr6 calipers are the same as the g60 /280 conversions you see so yes you can use those , just need the carriers and right hubs then
