It sounds like the rod needs adjusting, after the bushes have been replaced any slack would've been lost and it'll need re-aligning.. Loosen the 13mm nuts on the clamp, and knock the rod over by a gnats cock, then re-tighten. You'll have to look at it and figure which way to push it over. Too far one way and you'll lose reverse, too far the other and you'll lose 5th. All will become clear once you fiddle with it. If it is that its a 2minute job, just mind your hands on the exhaust if its hot!
