GTI Cluster problem
« on: 20 October 2011, 14:23 »
Hello, my first ever post and hoping for some advise please!

My VW Golf gti instrument cluster is very temperamental. Most of the time I have a complete power failure where I have no fuel, oil, speed or revs working. Sometimes it flicks the dials on and then they stay stuck at a certain position, then goes back to nothing.

Any ideas if it would be the whole unit thats knackered and/or is this something simple to fix etc?

Thanks.

Charlie.

Check the connections to start with, but tbh they do go sometimes, and the whole clocks need to be changed although not too expensive for a second hand set from eBay or a member on here who is breaking one
