I think many would, which is why I'd be suspicious of this mk2 :P

That's why  going to go over it with a fine tooth Combe lol also taking my mechanic mate with me.
Thing is he is quite young and I think the modded look of mine with the stance wheels leather and all that has made him want it so I really think I may have got myself a propper bargain here. So it sounds like an awaum deal. Think we both getting what we want. I get a mint mk2 and he gets a modded stances mk3 to show off to his mates.

I even said to him mate il be honest if I swap and something is wrong with the car and you lied to me I ain't gona be happy and I will want my car back and he said yeah that's totally fine.

Anybody who knows or has seen Stainsey will know he is the kind of guy you dont upset.......Stainsey's arms make mine look like beanpoles!  I think if he has any brains bud he wont swap you a MK2 with anything wrong with it!

Where is he mate as after owning 7 MK2 GTI Golfs I have a fair bit of knowledge on what to look out for so I am more than happy to go along with yourself and view it

We will still give it the holy grail tune bud!  A guy on here called Rubjonny did the article in that link mate and to be really honest I have never met or known anybody to be so wise to MK2 Golf GTI's....I dont think there is anything he does not know about MK2 Golf GTI's.

Agreeable Slick is another guy who is awsome with MK2 GTI's, although he is a master with the 16v's.
